Parental and Infant Health During Lactation is an all-day course that builds on basic breastfeeding and lactation knowledge. The 5 instructors cover a variety of topics regarding the intersection of maternal and infant health conditions and lactation.

Goals for this webinar include:

  • Identify common chronic maternal and infant medical conditions that impact lactation
  • Explain how the parental diet may affect milk quality
  • Discuss the evaluation of a breastfed or human milk-fed infant who is growing slowly
  • Describe the relationship between parental weight and lactation
  • Explain the variety of food allergies that may occur among breastfed infants

CPEUs: The Commission on Dietetic Registration is pleased to inform you that activity 184014 has been approved for 6.25 with an expiration date of 06/05/2025.
