Hot Topics in Breastfeeding Medicine Conference – Sept 2023
Hot Topics in Breastfeeding Medicine
Wednesday-Friday, September 6-8th, 2023
IABLE's 5th annual hybrid Clinical Breastfeeding Medicine Conference will be held in Portland, Oregon at the McMennamins Kennedy School Conference Center. Our conference, as always, will be interactive with group learning both in-person and webinar on clinical breastfeeding medicine topics.
Day 1 will be journal club, which was wildly successful at our 2022 conference. Day 2 will be an all day interactive workshop on low milk production, which will help inform a new Low Milk Production ABM protocol! Day 3 will involve 'difficult conversations' in breastfeeding medicine, where we will share counseling strategies with each other. These would qualify as 'counseling' sessions for anyone needing to meet IBCLC requirements.
The success of this conference depends on everyone's participation! This conference is designed for anyone who is seeking social time with their breastfeeding medicine colleagues while gaining knowledge and clinical skills via active learning.
Our in-person attendance is currently limited to 75, and we anticipate that the conference will fill, so we encourage you to sign up soon. In-person registration will close Aug. 18th.
A webinar option is available for those who cannot join in person.
Join us to have a blast, learn from each other, and make new friends!
