We provide continuing medical education credits (CMEs) approved by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). According to the American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification (ANCC), the continuing education hours approved by the AAFP and AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ meet the requirement of formally approved continuing education hours and may be used as such for ANCC Certification renewal. Because all state nurse licensing boards accept educational offerings that are approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), CMEs should be approved in all states for nursing credits. You can read more at https://www.nursingworld.org/certification/faqs/. Can you add CEUs/nursing credit hours to my certificate? No, if we did not apply for nursing credit hours, we cannot add them to your certificate. Instead, the ANCC states that CMEs from AAFP can be considered equivalent to nursing credits, so you need to report the CMEs to your Nursing Board.
