The Building and Maintaining a Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine Practice Series
This series, scheduled for 1.0 hours on the third Friday of each month, is designed for physicians who currently practice breastfeeding medicine, or are new to the field and are interested in learning the ins and outs of establishing and maintaining a breastfeeding and lactation medicine (BFLM) practice.
This series is an opportunity to teach each other how we incorporate the specialized field of BFLM into a variety of practice models such as academic settings, private practice, and direct primary care. Each session will be awarded 1.0 CMEs. CMEs can also be used for nursing and lactation re-certifications. No experience is necessary to participate; we welcome all learners!
Our hosts, Lena Edelstein MD, NABBLM-C, IBCLC, FABM and Anne Eglash MD, NABBLM-C, IBCLC, FABM, will lead a discussion with guests on a variety of breastfeeding and lactation medicine practice topics ranging from establishing a practice, tools of the trade, billing, teaching, etc.
