Our Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion (OBC) Course is a basic, clinically-focused course for any person who is a medical or community breastfeeding/lactation supporter. We provide instruction on how to answer the most common breastfeeding/lactation questions that a family will have throughout the course of lactation, into toddlerhood and beyond.

Registration

Please “Add to Cart” at the top of this page to reserve your seat to attend this in-person course. Registration includes a continental breakfast with tea and coffee each morning, lunch each day, and a copy of the Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion Handbook with shipping within the US.

Please bring a water bottle for refilling.

Accreditation

A certificate listing credits earned will be available for download from your IABLE account after the event evaluation is completed. This will be available within 2-3 days after the course ends.

CMEs: The AAFP has reviewed The Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion Course, and deemed it acceptable for 14.5 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of approval is from 01/13/2025 to 01/12/2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

IBCLC: This course has been allocated 14.5(L) CERPs recognized by IBLCE. Long Term Provider #117-04.

IABLE has been accepted by International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) as a CERP Provider for the listed Continuing Education Recognition Points (CERPs) programme.
