Welcome to eCourse Enrollment for
Indiana Healthcare Providers

Sponsored by the Indiana Department of Health

Research shows that breastfeeding mothers rely on guidance and recommendations provided by their healthcare team, and that physician support has been shown to increase breastfeeding initiation and duration rates. Mothers who receive care from breastfeeding-knowledgeable physicians and other providers are less likely to wean prematurely. Our courses are developed to provide evidence-based and clinically applicable materials that will elevate the level of knowledge and skills among healthcare providers. Our course instructors are physicians who practice breastfeeding medicine.

By providing this free educational opportunity, the Indiana Department of Health is supporting the pivotal role that our medical providers play in the support and care of breastfeeding mothers and their families in Indiana.
