For IBCLC applicants or IBCLCs who are audited, data about your coursework, whether or not CERP approved, is required. You can easily access information needed on IABLE courses and webinars: -For live events or enduring courses (eCourses), you will need your certificate of completion which has the # of hours of education and IBLCE content domains. -For live events, such as webinars or our annual conference, you will need a copy of the agenda. -For enduring courses (eCourses), you will need a copy of the course descriptions. All of these are accessible on our eCourse page. IABLE staff is here to help you! If you need assistance with gathering this documentation, please contact us promptly. Did you read the above FAQ? * I read this, but still have a question. Can you find your answer here first? The "View My Courses" button on my Account doesn't work. Please make sure your browser isn't blocking pop-ups. Additionally, if you are new to IABLE, you may not have any course recordings or eCourses yet so the button will not take you anywhere. The video in my course won't play (it says "video does not exist"). Please reload your browser or try a different browser. You may need to clear the cache on your browser. If I’m unable to attend on the day of a live webinar, can I watch it later and will I receive credit? Yes, webinars are recorded and a link to the recording will be available in your "View My Courses" button within 2-3 days after it ends. Length of availability depends on the type of course—check the registration page for specific information. Credits are awarded for live attendance, viewing the recordings, or any combination of the two. I haven’t received a link to the webinar, how do I get access? You can find them in the Orders & Event Resources page of your IABLE account. Find the course you want and click on the linked title. Registration is closed, can I still get access? For a number of reasons it is our policy not to permit registration for our events, nor access to the recordings, after the event has occurred. These include policies of our accreditors and speakers, technical issues, and fairness to everyone who has registered. Note that sometimes our recordings will be available later as an eCourse. We will announce these in our newsletter when they are available. Did you read the above FAQs? * I read this, but still have a question. Can you find your answer here first? How do I earn credits for the course I attended?Credits are awarded upon completion of the course quizzes, evaluation, etc. in the "View My Courses" button of your IABLE Account. How do I find the course evaluation?Log in to your IABLE Account page and go to your "View My Courses" button. How do I access my certificate?Log in to your IABLE account and click on the “My Certificates” button. They are also emailed automatically upon completion. Why isn't IABLE offering CERPs on purchases after 12/31/25?IABLE stopped applying for CERPS for its educational programming as of January 2026, after determining that this was the best decision for the organization’s financial health as a nonprofit and its ability to offer equity pricing and low-cost programming.According to the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) Individual CERPs Guide for Recertification, Section IIIA, education that has been awarded educational credit by another board or organization may be counted as CERPs. All IABLE courses both live and enduring are awarded continuing education credits. Each CME credit could be counted as one CERP. There is no limit to the number of CMEs that can be counted as CERPs. For individuals who are applying for their initial IBCLC certification, all educational credits awarded to IABLE courses may be used for required lactation education hours. Does IABLE provide CEUs?We provide continuing medical education credits (CMEs) approved by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). According to the American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification (ANCC), the continuing education hours approved by the AAFP and AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ meet the requirement of formally approved continuing education hours and may be used as such for ANCC Certification renewal. Because all state nurse licensing boards accept educational offerings that are approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), CMEs should be approved in all states for nursing credits. You can read more at https://www.nursingworld.org/certification/faqs/. Can you add CEUs/nursing credit hours to my certificate? No, if we did not apply for nursing credit hours, we cannot add them to your certificate. Instead, the ANCC states that CMEs from AAFP can be considered equivalent to nursing credits, so you need to report the CMEs to your Nursing Board. How do I log in to my IABLE account? If you have your password, you can login using username or email address here: https://lacted.org/wp-login.php How do I reset my IABLE account password? This is a two-step process: 1) Please visit the password reset link and enter your username or email. This tells the system that you do not have your password, so it will reset it. 2) The website will send you an email with a link to another web page where you can reset your password. When you visit the page with the password reset, please wait 5 seconds and you will see a new password appear in the password field. This will be a strong password. Please copy the password to a safe place - it will not be emailed to you. Alternatively, you can put your own password into the form on the page, but the system won't allow a password which is weak. 3) After you reset your password, you will be presented with a link to login with your new password.
